SynthMaster 3 Core Architecture and Oscillators

• Modular Architecture: Each SynthMaster 3 instance can have up to 16 layers. Users can freely add and duplicate layers. Each layer supports up to 16 modules, including oscillators, filters, and effects.
• New VAnalog Oscillator: Generates waveforms in real-time using curve segments, simulating analog circuit behavior. Features 2 morphable waveforms and 1 independent sub-oscillator, with oversampling quality settings to eliminate aliasing noise.
• New Granular Oscillator: Capable of granular synthesis for single samples, multi-samples, or wavetables. Supports 16 voices, with 32 grains per voice (512 grains total). Features randomization for volume, phase, detune, position, and length.
• Diverse Oscillator Modules: Includes various sound source generation modules such as Basic, Additive, Vector, Wavetable, VAnalog, Granular, and Modulator.

Filters and Effects Modules

• Rich Filter Selection: Offers various filter models including Digital, VAnalog, State Variable, Ladder, Diode Ladder, Bite, and Comb.
• Phaser Filter: A brand new phase filter that operates polyphonically (independent for each voice), utilizing multiple all-pass filters mixed with the input signal to create unique phasing effects.
• Formant Filter: A brand new formant filter that uses a parallel bank of filters to simulate vowels. Users can select start and and vowels and morph between them.
• Waveshaper Effect: Features various distortion algorithms (Soft Tanh, Heavy, Fuzz, Bitcrush, etc.) and supports user-drawn custom distortion curves (unipolar or bipolar).

Modulation System and Advanced Editors

• Powerful Modulation Sources: Each layer can have 32 modulation sources, including ADSR Envelope, Multistage Envelope, LFO, Step LFO, Noise LFO, and Scaler.
• Noise LFO: Generates Sample & Hold noise, supporting various colors such as white noise and pink noise, and shaped via an Attack/Decay envelope follower.
• Scaler (Improved Keyscaler): Not limited to keyboard tracking, it can now select any modulation source as input and use the Scaler as a waveform shaper.
• Professional Editor Suite:
  • Waveform Editor: Create single-cycle waveforms via curve segments or freehand drawing, and edit the spectrum.
  • Wavetable Editor: Create wavetables using single-cycle waveforms or sample files, with 7 built-in wavetable effects (Spectral Filter, Bender, LoFi, etc.), and exportable as WAV format for use in other synthesizers.
  • Multi-Sample Editor: Supports drag-and-drop WAV/AIFF files to automatically create multi-samples, and exportable as SFZ format.
