SynthMaster 3 Modular Architecture

• Multi-Layer Design: Each SynthMaster 3 instance can have up to 16 Layers, which can be created by adding new or duplicating existing layers.
• Rich Modules: Each layer can accommodate 16 modules. Generator modules include: Basic Oscillator, Additive, Vector, Wavetable, Virtual Analog (VAnalog), Granular, and Modulator.
• Visual Routing: The Routing tab provides a visual representation of the signal flow, allowing users to add, remove, bypass, activate, or replace modules, and freely create connections between modules.
• Multiple View Modes: Offers Layer View (single layer editing), Track View (keyboard zoning, arpeggiator editing for multiple layers), and Mix View (effects and send editing for multiple layers).

New Oscillator Technologies

• Granular Oscillator: Performs granular synthesis on single samples, multi-samples, or wavetables. Supports up to 16 Voices, with each voice capable of having 32 grains, totaling up to 512 grains. Provides randomization parameters for volume, phase, detune, position, grain length, and start time.
• VAnalog Oscillator: Simulates analog circuit waveforms in real-time using curve segments, featuring quality parameters to control oversampling levels and prevent aliasing noise. Includes various classic analog synthesizer waveforms and a dedicated Sub Oscillator.

Advanced Filters & FX

• Diverse Filters: Includes Digital Filters, VAnalog Filters, State Variable Filters, Ladder/Diode Ladder Filters, Bite, Comb, and more.
• Phaser Filter: A new polyphonic phase filter, with each voice operating independently, mixing multiple all-pass filters to create unique phasing effects.
• Formant Filter: Uses a bank of parallel filters to create vowel sounds, allowing morphing between an initial and a final vowel.
• Wave Shaper: Offers various distortion algorithms such as Soft Tanh, Heavy, Fuzz, Bitcrush, and supports user-drawn custom distortion curves (unipolar or bipolar).

Modulation System & Editors

• Powerful Modulation Sources: Each layer supports 32 modulation sources, including ADSR, Multistage Envelope, LFO, Step LFO, and the new Noise LFO (which can generate Sample & Hold noise).
• Scaler Module: Improved from KeyScaler, it can now select any modulation source as input and use it as a Waveshaper.
• Waveform & Wavetable Editor: Built-in comprehensive editor for drawing single-cycle waveforms or creating wavetables from samples. Offers 7 wavetable effects (Spectral Filter, Bender, LoFi, etc.) and supports export to WAV format.
• Multi Sample Editor: Supports drag-and-drop of WAV/AIFF files to automatically create multi-samples, and can export to SFZ format.
• Arpeggiator & Sequencer: Each layer has an independent Arpeggiator and Sequencer, supporting MIDI output to different tracks in the DAW.
