ADAM Audio D3V Desktop Studio Monitors
The D3V is ADAM Audio’s most compact and user-friendly monitoring system, offering impressive acoustic performance and advanced technical features.
Each pair of D3V active studio monitors features a 3.5-inch aluminum woofer and dual passive radiators that extend bass response down to 45 Hz. The handcrafted 1.5-inch D-ART (Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter) delivers precise and fatigue-free high frequencies.
Uncompressed Digital Audio
The D3V includes a USB-C input for plug-and-play connectivity with computers, smartphones, and tablets. On the rear panel, three DSP-controlled acoustic switches and a balanced analog input are available. A detachable monitor stand and standard 3/8” threaded inserts are included for easy setup and mounting.

Fully Active 3.5" Aluminum Woofer with Ferrite Magnet System
Optimized using ADAM Audio’s advanced Klippel measurement system, the woofer features a symmetrical voice coil and ferrite magnet system to minimize distortion. Each concave cone is crafted from ridged, long-stroke aluminum to maintain sound integrity even under high output conditions.
This active design features four separate amplifiers and DSP-managed crossover points. The woofer is powered by an 80W amplifier, with signal sent to the right speaker via a connection cable.
Passive Radiators
Each monitor features two side-mounted passive radiators (four per system). These include stainless steel plates as moving mass and specially stretched rubber rings for suspension. Together with the main woofer, they enhance low-frequency response and increase overall SPL.
Direct USB-C Input
The D3V is ADAM Audio’s most convenient monitor thanks to its plug-and-play USB-C input. When connected to a computer, smartphone, or tablet, it functions as a direct digital output device, eliminating the need for an external interface. It delivers high-quality playback without compression or latency issues common in Bluetooth speakers.
DSP Acoustic Controls
The left speaker’s rear panel includes three switches to correct common acoustic placement issues:

Balanced Analog Input
In addition to USB-C, the D3V includes analog inputs for traditional audio devices. This allows connection to audio interfaces or hardware like synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, and DJ mixers. Input source (USB-C or analog) is selected using the volume knob on the left speaker.
Headphone Output, Monitor Stand, and Mounting Options
Functionality and convenience are key aspects of the D3V design. A front headphone output automatically mutes speaker playback. A detachable 15° angled stand is included, and each speaker has a 3/8" threaded insert for standard microphone stand mounting.
Injection-Molded Enclosure
The housing is made from high-grade injection-molded ABS polycarbonate with thick walls and internal bracing to minimize vibrations and unwanted resonances. The curved design reduces high-frequency diffraction while honoring ADAM Audio’s industrial design tradition.
