Supported Applications and Host Integration

Reason can run standalone as a DAW, and it can also run as the Reason Rack Plugin inside major hosts that support VST3/AU, such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, Bitwig, Reaper, and more. In a host you can load the Rack as an instrument or effect, use Players to generate MIDI and harmonies, drag-and-drop sounds and samples for quick arranging, and sync Sound Packs to projects via Companion. You can also combine various AI assistants to generate MIDI/drum patterns/harmony sketches, then refine and finish mixes in Reason’s rack and mixer.
