• Dual Drum Kit Sampling: Deeply sampled two classic Middle Eastern frame drums, including a 15-inch Daf drum from Greece (with metal rings and bearings) and a 13-inch Riq drum from Egypt (with wide tin cymbals).
• Diverse Playing Techniques (Articulations): Covers an extremely wide range of playing styles, including bone mallet, felt mallet, wood stick, brush center/edge/muffled strikes, as well as various finger and palm striking techniques.
• Rich Dynamic Layers: Each articulation includes 5 to 8 velocity layers, with 10 different round-robin samples recorded for each layer to avoid the 'machine gun effect' and present natural playing dynamics.
• Characteristic Shakes and Rolls: Includes shake and roll samples at various speeds, with release triggers and swell control to simulate the natural ebb and flow of real performance.
• Unique Bass Bends: Recorded unique "Tabla-style" bass bends, offering variations in speed, intensity, and position, restoring the subtle pitch changes found in traditional playing.
