The Solid State Logic Fusion is a 2U all-analogue stereo outboard processor designed for the demands of the modern hybrid studio. Fusion introduces six brand-new analogue colouration tools that add tone, weight, width, and musical depth to your mix bus or stereo stems — delivering the warmth, detail and finesse that only true analogue circuitry can provide.
Building on SSL’s legacy of iconic analogue processing — including Channel EQ & Dynamics, the legendary Stereo Bus Compressor, the Listen Mic Compressor and the SSL summing bus — Fusion provides a complete analogue palette in a single rack unit and is the perfect companion to the SSL Bus Compressor.

- Six analogue processors in one: Featuring Vintage Drive, Violet EQ, HF Compressor, Stereo Image, SSL Transformer, and a hidden sixth processor — the full-band Listen Mic Compressor (LMC) accessible by holding the HF Compressor "IN" button for 5 seconds.
- Vintage Drive: A unique non-linear harmonic enhancement circuit. The Drive and Density controls interact to create harmonic saturation and soft analogue-style compression. Use it lightly for gentle thickening or push it hard for more aggressive coloration.
- Violet EQ: SSL’s first new analogue EQ in 25 years — a minimum-phase two-band shelving EQ with four selectable frequency points per band and ±9 dB of boost/cut. Designed for fast, intuitive shaping of low-end weight and high-end sheen.
- HF Compressor: A high-frequency-only compressor for taming harsh top-end content. Delivers smooth, tape-like rounding of high frequencies and gentle de-harshing without affecting the rest of the spectrum.
- Hidden 6th Processor — Full-Band LMC: Unlocks a full-band Listen Mic Compressor mode with wet/dry parallel mix control. Ideal for aggressive, characterful compression and creative sound design.
- Stereo Image: A true analogue Mid-Side (M-S) width processor that manipulates only the Side signal. Perfect for creating wider, deeper and more immersive stereo fields.
- SSL Transformer: A custom-designed switched transformer circuit that adds subtle low-frequency saturation and a gentle high-frequency phase shift — resulting in thicker lows and musical, sparkling highs.
- Workflow-enhancing SSL design: Includes ±12 dB Input/Output Trim, input overload LED, large peak-hold meters, front-end 3rd-order HPF (30/40/50 Hz), and a flexible XLR Insert that can operate in Stereo Insert or Mid-Side Insert mode. Insert position can be switched pre-Violet EQ or pre-Stereo Image for full routing control.
