Advanced Wavetable Engine

• Multi-Wavetable Support: Wavetables are displayed as multiple waveforms and controlled by the central hexagon. Users can manually select wavetables, modulate wave position via the matrix, or use envelope and loop options for automatic scanning, making sounds dynamic without extra modulation sources.
• 2D Oscillators: Supports splitting wavetables into up to 16 parts (Multi-Table) to create 2D oscillator effects. For example, a 30-frame wavetable can be split into 3x10 frames, crossfading between these sections via the position knob, achieving effects similar to velocity layering or multisampling.
• UHM Script Support: Many factory wavetables are not sampled but generated by proprietary .uhm scripts. Users can write their own scripts to generate and manipulate wavetables, delving deeper into the underlying logic of sound synthesis.
• Diverse Interpolation Algorithms: Offers 4 different interpolation algorithms (Switch, Crossfade, Spectral, Zero Phase), which significantly affect the waveform's appearance and CPU usage, thereby altering the sound's texture and phase characteristics.

Shape Sequencer & Function Generators

• Shape Sequencer: This is a powerful tool that 'gamifies' rhythmic creation. It features four shape modulation channels (A, B, C, D), each with independent options to determine the sequence's trigger method and speed, enabling the creation of extremely complex rhythmic textures.
• Function Generators: Combines simple envelope functions, LFOs, Slew Limiters, and gate control. It has three outputs, each with its own 'crosshair' that can be dragged and dropped onto any modulation target. Triggered by LFOs or the Shape Sequencer, it can create incredible dynamic effects.

Arpeggiator & Sequencer

• Full-Featured Arpeggiator: Located in the central hexagon's ARP/SEQ panel, supporting a range of up to 3 octaves, 6 direction options, and 4 orders. Features a Restart function and ClockDiv for slowing down the arpeggio relative to the sequencer.
• Creative Sequencer: Offers two modes, one of which allows sending Control Change (CC) messages without triggering notes. In Record (REC) mode, you can directly input single notes on the keyboard or even capture the arpeggiator's output, transforming improvisations into fixed sequences.

Flexible Effects & Modulation System

• 7 Reconfigurable Effects: Includes Distortion, Reverb, EQ, Chorus, Delay, Compressor, and Phaser. Users can rearrange the effect order by dragging the central column, for example, feeding a short reverb into a highly resonant phaser, then into heavy distortion, to create experimental timbres.
• Deep Modulation Matrix: A 12-slot modulation matrix (6 per page) connects sources like LFOs, envelopes, and MIDI controls to countless targets. Each slot supports 2 targets and has independent depth control. Targets also come with 5 modifiers (e.g., Rectify, Quantize, Sample & Hold, etc.), offering ultimate sound sculpting capabilities.
• XY Macro Controls: Hive 2 can automatically assign unused XY controls to the most suitable parameters in a preset for automatic parameter scanning. Users can also customize XY controls, with each dimension supporting up to 4 targets, ideal for live performance.
