Vintage Dead is an Addictive Drums 2 kit expansion that focuses on the "dry, short, close" drum sound commonly heard in 1970s studios. Built around a tight close-mic image and very short decay, it lets you quickly create vintage funk, soul, disco, as well as modern lo-fi and beat-making dry drum textures that are easy to mix and sit precisely in an arrangement.

Supported Hosts and Workflow Integration
Usable in major DAWs that support AAX, AU, and VST3—such as Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, Reaper, and more. Through Addictive Drums 2’s Groove browser and drag-and-drop features, you can place grooves directly onto your DAW timeline; use DAW automation and bus processing to further refine the sound. You can also generate MIDI grooves with external tools or AI assistants, then import them into AD2 for auditioning and editing to quickly complete arrangements.
