Free-Topology FM Synthesis: Four FM oscillators (each comprising a modulator and carrier) can be freely chained, and each can accept any signal from the rack as a third operator, allowing for complex FM structures without fixed algorithms.

Generator Rack (Sound Generation Rack)

Zebra 3's Generator Rack is a powerful modular synthesis playground. You can freely combine various modules to create any sound, from pristine additive synthesis pads to raw physical modeling textures.

Main Oscillators: 4 units, capable of morphing between hand-drawn spline waveforms, classic wavetables (up to 16-voice unison), and an additive engine (up to 1024 sine partials).
Oscillator Effects: Each main oscillator has 2 built-in serial effect slots, offering 20 processing methods, including spectral filtering, phase distortion, and more.
FM Oscillators: 4 units, freely chainable, and can accept any rack signal as a third operator, breaking the limitations of fixed FM algorithms.

Modulation Rack

Zebra 3 treats modulation as a core element equally important to sound generation. Pitch and gate signals are on par with regular modulation sources, offering immense creative flexibility.

ADSR Envelopes: 4 units, with velocity sensitivity and one-shot trigger modes, and can add delay, curve variations, etc., via the Vary parameter.
LFOs: 4 units, covering sine, triangle, sawtooth, square, sample & hold, and random waveforms, supporting tempo sync and phase offset.
MSEG (Multi-Stage Envelopes): 4 units, allowing up to eight morphable curves to be drawn on a shared timeline, with freely configurable loop points.
Pitch Modules: 4 dedicated pitch modules for detailed tuning, glide, and quantization control over up to four pitch components within a single voice.
Mappers: 4 units, capable of reshaping any modulation signal via custom transformation curves, or used as step sequencers.
Mod Math: 4 units, allowing modulation signals to be combined, multiplied, or transformed before reaching their destination, for example, ring modulating two LFOs.

Reverbs: Two reverb models (Classic and Lush), capable of creating spatial sensations from tight rooms to expansive halls.
