Supported Applications and Workflow Integration
In the Reason DAW, BV-X can be used as an insert or bus effect for vocals or instruments and can accept an external carrier via sidechain; it can also be driven by MIDI notes to play the built-in carrier, together with Players or the Sequencer to perform chords and melodies. Using CV and automation parameters, you can create complex modulation and scene switching with other rack devices.
In other DAWs (such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Live, Studio One, etc.), load the Reason Rack Plugin as an effect or instrument track, place BV-X inside the RRP rack, and use the host's audio routing and automation to control parameters; you can use the DAW's MIDI, sidechain and controller mapping to integrate it into existing mixing and production workflows.
